Community Guidelines

Atta is a place for useful information and meaningful conversation. These guidelines describe what that means in practice. They apply to every post, comment, and profile.

Contribute substance

Share things that help someone learn, decide, or build: insights from your work, honest questions, projects, well-sourced summaries. Low-effort engagement bait, spam, and repetitive self-promotion don't belong here.

Discuss in good faith

Disagreement is welcome — it's how ideas improve. Attack arguments, not people. No harassment, hate, or dogpiling.

Be honest about who you are

Don't impersonate people or organizations, misrepresent credentials, or pass off others' work as your own. If a post is speculation or opinion, present it that way.

Respect sources

When you build on reporting, research, or someone else's analysis, link to it. Quoting is fine; passing off is not.

Keep people safe

No content that promotes violence, exploits minors, shares private personal information without consent, or facilitates illegal harm. These are removal-and-account-action offenses.

Reporting and enforcement

Use the report tools on any post, comment, or profile. Reports go to real review. Consequences scale with severity and history — from content removal to account restriction — and we aim to explain decisions and offer appeal.
